There's a circular "blue" halo around the edge of the gem, cool, I didn't expect it. I'm not sure if I really like it. If you need it on vacation and don't want to worry about your real ring, this is a great ring. I took it and tried it out to see which one I liked before buying the real one. It looks really good!
